Audio Peak Files (extension 'gpk') Gpk files considerably speed up file re-loading. That's why it's a standard with WaveLab to create them, this cannot be surpressed in version 6 and older.

I'm attempting to stand up a reporting server which will plug into a DB on a cluster that resides on other nodes inside of the domain. The parent software is designed for this configuration.

I’m running Server 2012 and SQL 2012. Worth noting, there are no SQL2014 products on this server prior to this installation attempt, which states on the prereqs are fully supported versions. I have a lot of systems experience, but only basic DB experience. Their reporting services executable installs their Systems Configuration Wizard, which configures the connections between the reporting server and the DB. SSRS is installed locally, the service is running, you can connect to it, and all related sites are operational. Upon launching the installation executable, you’re presented with a pre-req of ‘MSSQL Server 2014 Shared Management Objects’ & ‘MS Systems CLR Types for SQL Server 2014’.

Once run, the installation package states that the first install, MSSQL2014SMO has failed, and prompts to continue the installation anyway. The second pre-req installs without an error. Regardless of the choice made to continue the installation or not, the end result is the same - SQL2014SMO v12.0.2000.8 appears in the Programs & Features menu. When I launch the Systems Configuration Wizard (the install finishes without issue, if you select to continue despite the failure), I receive the error 'Can't find any version of SSRS instances installed on your machine', despite the fact (as previously mentioned) that SSRS is installed, configured, connects in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager, and the service is confirmed running. • I uninstalled SQL2014SMO v12.0.2000.8 and downloaded and installed SQL2014SMO v12.0.2000.8 from Microsoft.com.

It installs without generating an error and appears to finish successfully. The reporting services installer still prompts to install SQL2014SMO and provides the same operational result.

The executable may reach out to Microsoft to grab the package, which is so small, without installing WireShark or bugging the Networking guys, I’d never notice. • There appears to be no difference between the files (and file contents) installed from the reporting services version (?) of SQL2014SMO, and Microsoft's package. (C: ProgramFiles.sharedmagementobjects_keyfile.dll) • Updated.NET Framework to 4.7.1.

Same installation and operational result. • There is no errors on the Windows Installer Logs (Installer exit prompts to view install logs, to include the Application and Systems logs) • There are no error on the SQL installation log at these locations. (c: User AppData.), (C: ProgramData.) Are there pre-reqs I’m missing? Does anyone know of any additional logs I can look at? Also, the vendor is saying it's a Microsoft issue despite the fact that SQL 2014 Management Objects stand-alone installs without issue. This is a very frustrating problem, especially when your vendor throws their hands up and doesn't want to help.) (edit 3 - Currently trying to chase down the installed contents of the ‘MSSQL Server 2014 Shared Management Objects’ to verify the installation is actually valid. Thus far, I've found the previously mentioned DLL (C: Program Files Microsoft SQL Server 120 KeyFile 1033 sharedmagementobjects_keyfile.dll) and have verified the contents. I've also found registry keys at HKLM SOFTWARE Microsoft Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Redist SharedManagementObjects 1033 (contains the version information) & HKLM SOFTWARE Microsoft Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Redist SharedManagementObjects MSIRefCount (Contains the uninstall information) ) • • • • •.

I am trying to convert apk to gpk - two apps in particular; MX Player and ES File Explorer I have downloaded a tool with instructions from another forum using google translate from Burmese to English, but it's not perfect and still very hard to understand. The name of the tool is GPKMaker. From the instructions, I think I need the APK and the Data file folder from the same device that I am trying to install the gpk on. But I don't know how I would get the latter without installing it first. I tried to use the MX Player Data folder - com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad From another device to make the gpk.
